Why did they pick me, what did I do?

Most people believe that if they have an infestation that somehow they did something wrong or things are not clean. But that seems to be in the majority of situations categorically false. Chances are you did nothing wrong. Most Rodents and Nuisance Wildlife are very indiscriminate on who they pick. Majority of reasons why they are in your house is simply for a warm safe place to go in relation to the proximity of where they were born (I,E, their home range). If they happen to find food it's just icing on the cake for them. Case in point, it's not your fault.

At what point do I need to call you to fix the problem?

As soon as you see any sign of a Rodent or Nuisance Wildlife. That could be as simple as finding a small hole in your pet food bag. Finding some animal droppings along the wall in the garage or under the sink etc. Seeing a flash of movement out of the corner of your eye. Scratching or foreign sounds coming from your attic or crawl space, or one of your pets constantly alerting you to something. In short "As soon as you sense anything". Why do you prefer a non-poison trap methods? And is rodent poison really such a bad thing?

Thank you for asking, this topic means a lot to me! The most important thing is the inadvertent poisoning of non-target and native species. If you have a rodent that dies and gets consumed by another animal, or is in a weaker state and is hunted and consumed by another animal. The poisonous dose that it carries in its body gets passed on to other animals. It might be one of your pets, or the neighbor's pet, or a wild native or endangered species, it all has the same effect. It causes harm to our environment and in some cases causes the death of our pets and native species here in Texas. As a secondary concern to the target species it's administered to, it's a horrible, inhumane, long, and painful death.

The short answer is 1 . The long answer is: Any foreign nonhuman entity that enters your home with the mentality or desire of habitation that is not wanted or desired by the homeowner or occupants is considered an Infestation.
